PokéIsaac patch notes

The changes SrBatai has shipped since launch on October 20, 2026, as the game's own patch screen lists them in English.

Ask the Coach Tell it your Pokémon, your items and your floor: it says what to take, which deal to make and how to beat the boss.

Cries, footprints and coins v1.0.11 · 2026-10-21

Sound

  • Pokémon now make their cry: when you pick them in the Pokédex or the Wiki, when they evolve, when you switch team members, when they come out of the Gacha and in boss introductions.
  • You can turn it off in Options > Sound (“Pokémon cries”). Pokémon from no. 722 (Rowlet) onwards do not have a cry yet.

Items

  • Items now have diminishing returns: past 130 damage-boosting items, each one is worth a little less (before, damage multiplied without limit and with almost every item a boss died in 2 seconds). The stats panel (Tab) shows it.

Infinite mode

  • Infinite mode difficulty now rises smoothly, without the sudden jump on floor 31 or the steps every 10 floors (the “INFINITE ×N” indicator reflects it).
  • When you defeat Armored Mewtwo on floor 30 the MEGA banner opens right away and its Mega Tickets are added, even if you keep going in infinite mode (before you had to end the run).

Economy

  • Coins now scale with the floor: rooms and bosses give more money as you go deeper, and shop and market prices rise a little on every floor.
  • Your wallet no longer stops at 99: it goes up to 150 from floor 11 and to 250 in infinite mode.
  • Items that drop coins now have a cap per room and per floor, and luck helps loot less (up to +8).
  • Talk to Meowth in the shop (E) to restock it for Pokédollars, and on floors 10, 20, 30... there is an upgrade shop with vitamins.

Minimap

  • The minimap has new, bigger pixel-art icons and every room type has its own colour (gold treasure, blue shop, pink healing, purple secret, red boss). A red dot marks rooms you entered but did not clear.

Footprints

  • While walking, your Pokémon leaves its own footprint, the one from the Pokédex, in the colour of its type. If it flies or floats it does not touch the ground and leaves nothing. Those without a footprint (snakes, blobs or from generation 7 onwards) keep the marks of their type.
  • The footprint also appears on each Pokémon’s Pokédex card.

Different floors again, gamepad and more v1.0.10 · 2026-10-20

Important fix

  • Fixed a bug affecting saved runs since 18/10: after continuing them, every floor came out the same (same rooms, same enemies in the same spots) and "random" items kept repeating, mostly Protein. Your saved runs fix themselves: from the next floor on they are different again.

Controls and screen

  • With a gamepad, clicking the right stick switches to the next Pokémon and the left stick to the previous one (you can change them in Options > Controls).
  • Fewer slowdowns with lots of effects on screen: lightning and damage numbers are grouped, burning enemies and lights cost less, and the stats column is no longer fully redrawn every frame.
  • New "Performance" setting (Options > Graphics): in AUTO the game lowers effects by itself when FPS drop (you will see E1, E2 or E3 next to the FPS counter) and restores them afterwards.
  • With a controller, move the right stick in any menu to bring up a cursor (A = click, X + stick = scroll) and use every screen without a mouse; the d-pad still moves between buttons.
  • The "Are you sure?" prompts and the choice between ending or continuing in infinite mode now work with a controller (d-pad, A and B), and A closes the boss card.
  • New "Effects opacity" setting (Options > Graphics): fades explosions, sparks, beams and auras from your attacks so you can see the room better.

Bosses

  • Armored Mewtwo on floor 30 gets a new sprite, with new animations: idle, walk, attack, jump, hurt and faint.

Weapons and items

  • If you carry several weapons, the last one you picked rules (before, a fixed list decided). The others still add their touch.
  • Shedinja now has 1 HP, like in the games: half a heart that cannot be raised, and any hit defeats it. A "The Lost" version.
  • With Max Repel active, the donation machine no longer takes your hearts.
  • Very long runs: items that only raise stats no longer repeat endlessly, and item damage past +40 grows much more slowly.

Account

  • Removed a false anti-cheat warning that triggered in very long runs ("floor skip"). Anyone who got it has been pardoned.

Co-op on a dedicated server v1.0.9 · 2026-10-20

Co-op

  • Co-op rooms now run on a server of ours (Europe and America): it no longer depends on one player's computer or connection holding up. If whoever created the room closes the tab or loses internet, everyone else's game keeps going.
  • Every player has the same ping to the server, with no advantage for anyone. The first to join is the room owner and the one who presses "Start game" (at least 2 players are needed in the room).
  • The room shows "SERVER" next to the player count. If the server has no room or does not answer, a room is created the old way, with a player as host.
  • On the server, after defeating Armored Mewtwo the run continues in infinite mode; each player can cash in their rewards with "End run" in the pause menu.
  • Fixed: if a co-op run ended very early, players could re-enter the finished run on their own.

Handhelds with a gamepad

  • New "Touch controls" setting (Options): on AUTO, if your device has a gamepad or d-pad (Android handhelds like the AYN Thor), the on-screen buttons and touch hints are hidden and the tab goes back to Controls. You can also set them to always or never.

Boss rooms

  • The ring on the boss room floor now has Unown runes (with an eye in the centre) instead of the pentagram; Armored Mewtwo's runes spell MEWTWO.

Rewards

  • Very long runs no longer wait for a review: rewards arrive right away and the team checks them afterwards.

Direct co-op and launch fixes v1.0.8 · 2026-10-20

Rewards

  • New accounts now get every run reward: Mega Tickets, Gold Tickets, Medals and the Mega banner for beating Armored Mewtwo. Before, they got none during the account's first 24 hours.
  • If you completed Classic or beat mega bosses at launch and missed those rewards, they are already in your account.
  • If the server is slow to answer when your run ends, the rewards are no longer lost even if you close the tab: they are sent when you come back.

Saved runs

  • When you beat Armored Mewtwo the run is now saved while you choose between finishing or going on in infinite mode. If you close the tab there, you are asked again when you return.
  • If a saved run fails to continue it is no longer deleted: it stays saved and you can try again.
  • Fixed a freeze when entering a room in very long runs with hundreds of items (shots multiplied endlessly): there is now a cap on shots per room.
  • Fixed a bug that left the menu unresponsive with a damaged saved run, and another that could stall a boss.

Account

  • Anti-cheat warnings now expire on their own after 6 hours.
  • Guest mode is not available: create an account with your email to save runs and get rewards.
  • New screen to sign in and create your account: two tabs, your Pokémon on the altar, a show-password button, a strength meter and instant warnings if the email or passwords don't match.

Co-op

  • Direct connection between players: you and the host now connect directly (with the server as a backup) and ping drops a lot, especially between players in the same country. You will see "DIRECT" next to the ping. You can turn it off in Options > Data; while it is on, the players in your room can see your IP.
  • New server for the Americas (Virginia): the game picks the lowest-ping one by itself, and whoever joins a room goes to that room's server.

Reworked weapons

  • Every weapon now has its own mechanic, and all of them still stack with your items' effects: FulgoROM = lightning that jumps from enemy to enemy; CrioROM = an ice blizzard in front of you; Sharp Fang = a bite that leaves Defense Down; Acromáquina = Voltorbs that roll and explode when they bounce; Green Orb = an earthquake that stuns grounded enemies; Porcehelado = a Shadow Ball that breaks into homing fragments; Rock Rain = a row of falling rocks; Leek = a chain of slashes with Fury Cutter and a final spin; Snowball = a ball that rolls and grows.
  • Red Prism (a meter that releases a Hyper Beam) and Memorín (marks joined by links) become modules: they add to any weapon instead of replacing it.
  • With several weapons at once, each of the others adds a small touch to your attacks. Details are in the Wiki, on each weapon.

Improvements based on your feedback

  • Nuggets are gone: no more in shops, rooms, the League or loot drops (a coin drops where a nugget used to).
  • More original items: the Blood Bag becomes Berry Juice (heart +1, heals and raises damage a little) and the IV Bag becomes Fresh Water (3 Pokédollars for half a heart). Burn Drive sets nearby enemies on fire and the flames jump from one to the next when one dies; Douse Drive sends out a wave that pushes and soaks enemies (slowed, with puddles).
  • Combat feels punchier: a tiny pause when you get hit, when you defeat the last enemy in a room and when you beat a boss (turned off by "reduce motion"), and enemies recoil a little when hit by your shots.

Fixes

  • In-run stats move down to the bottom-left corner, next to the active item, and get new icons: colored badges (red damage, yellow fire rate, blue speed, teal shot speed, orange range, green luck).
  • Shots that pass through rocks (Spirit Stone and Ghost type) no longer pass through breakable objects: they break them and stop on them.

Speed

  • Music is downloaded once, in full, and takes almost three times less space: less data, fewer hiccups and snappier menus.
  • The game asks the server less often (friends, profile, saved run), so it runs better when lots of people are online.

Memory and false warnings v1.0.7 · 2026-10-20

Fixes

  • Fixed the memory that shot up in long runs, especially in infinite mode: every room kept a big image of its background and those of earlier floors were not released in time (in Firefox they could take several GB and the tab crashed). They are now released when you change floor and only the last visited rooms are kept.
  • A browser stall is no longer mistaken for developer tools (before, the notice appeared and the run stopped giving rewards).
  • The cheat detector no longer warns honest players with many floors and many items (luck and range). If your saved run had been marked for that, it is cleared when you continue it.

Armored Mewtwo, new sprite v1.0.7 · 2026-10-20

What's new

  • The floor 30 final boss gets its own sprite: Armored Mewtwo with its armour really drawn, from the front, back and sides, with animations for walking, the psychic slash attack, jumping, taking damage and falling.

Your stats, on screen v1.0.7 · 2026-10-20

What's new

  • In a run, on the left under your coins, you always see your damage, fire rate, speed, shot speed, range and luck, each with its own pixel-art icon: sword, stopwatch, winged boot, shot, crosshair and clover.
  • When you take an item, next to each stat you see how much it went up (green) or down (red).
  • In Classic mode, two more rows, Darkrai's eye and Jirachi's star: the chance that their rift opens after the floor boss.
  • Hover over them to see each name. You can turn them off in Options, Game tab.

Discord front and centre, accessories hidden v1.0.7 · 2026-10-20

Menu

  • The Discord button moves to the top of the menu, next to your balance: big, in Discord colours and with its mascot. One tap and you are in the community.

Changes

  • The glasses, caps, crowns, headbands and scarves shown on your Pokémon are hidden for now while we redraw them. The items still work exactly the same.

Let it burn! and switching on mobile v1.0.7 · 2026-10-20

What's new

  • Burned Pokémon really burn now: animated pixel-art flames that wrap around them (a big one behind and smaller ones in front), rising embers, smoke and a red flash every time the burn deals damage.

Mobile

  • New button on the touch controls to switch Pokémon: it shows the portrait of the one that would come out (in its type colour, with the time left if it is still resting) and dots with your whole team.
  • Tap it to send out the next one that is ready. Hold it or slide your finger and a fan opens with the others: release on the one you want (or outside, to keep your current one).
  • You can move, resize or hide it in Options, Touch tab. It only appears with a team of 2 or 3.

Every item reviewed and your best run's build v1.0.7 · 2026-10-20

What's new

  • Profile: you now see your BEST RUN and your LAST RUN, each with a VIEW BUILD button: every item you had, with what each one does.
  • Leaderboard: click any player to see the build of their best run.
  • To save space, only each player's best run and last run are kept. Your stats, records and rewards don't change.

Weapons and synergies

  • Las armas (Prisma Rojo, FulgoROM, Memorín, CrioROM, Colmillo Agudo, Puerro, Bola de Nieve, Esfera Verde, Roca Lluvia) reciben ahora casi todos los efectos de tus objetos: críticos, Metrónomo, Dentadura de Oro, Diente Marino, Duralium, Miel, Néctar Rojo, Toxisfera, Bola de Arcilla, Cámara Lucha, Pico Afilado, Polvo Plata, Blanco, Huesos Finos, Puerro Grueso, Fósil Hélix, Flauta Eón y más.
  • Destiny Knot, Dragon Skull and Marble also work with weapons: beams, lasers, rings, fangs and slashes backwards or to the sides.
  • With extra shots (TM Double Team, Lens Case...) weapons always fire one straight: before, with two, both went sideways and missed.
  • X Accuracy now works with charge weapons (before they never fired). Ditto (Repeat Ball) and the Reveal Glass now also copy weapon attacks.
  • The Razor Fang and the Leek now charge with your fire rate, and Whipped Dream no longer halves weapon damage.
  • Damage multipliers stack better: the Gold Leaf reaches its ×2.3 and anything above counts a quarter (up to ×3).

Fixes

  • Growth Mulch no longer cancels your other shot effects (Casteliacone, Dragon Scale, the Chill Drive ring...).
  • Dropping a health item at max health no longer takes a heart away, and a used Focus Sash or Max Revive no longer recharges when dropped and picked up again.
  • Devon Goods no longer allows unlimited use of one-charge actives, and the Devon Scuba Gear no longer triples the Eon Ticket.
  • Protector, Magma Stone and Safety Goggles now tell explosions and falling rocks apart correctly, and one-charge shields are no longer spent on hits another item blocked for free.
  • Clear Bell, Comet Shard, Blue Card, Eject Button, Black Belt, Rare Bone, Grip Claw, Heat Rock, Wise Glasses, Everstone, Dawn Stone (Sylveon is Fairy type) and many more now do what their description says.
  • Companions now hit according to the floor you're on and no longer trigger your item effects as if they were your shots. The Gastly Pact has its own Gastly.
  • Indigo League: you can no longer leave the gym with an item mid-wave (it could lock it), and items that count floors now work there.
  • Co-op: X Speed, Bicycle, Pretty Feather and Soda Pop now give speed to every player.
